HISTORY of an IDEA
As part of the new design of 41 ‘cruise sailing yachts, one of the conditions was the adoption of a lifting keel for shallow water, needed in the northern Adriatic, without precluding good sailing and lightweight performance displacement.
Initial research on existing models did not satisfy us so we studied a new type of mechanism, incorporating some important novelties over current solutions.
THUS THE “KEEL SERVANT” PROJECT WAS BORN, A NEW LIFTING MECHANISM FOR TELESCOPIC KEELS THAT OVERCOMES THE PROBLEMS AND DISADVANTAGES OF TELESCOPIC KEELS SO FAR AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET.
